The Community Shares Chair is CISV Smoky Mountain’s point of contact with the local branch of the nonprofit organization Community Shares.
Community Shares of Tennessee provides support to over 30 progressive nonprofit organizations, called Member Groups, that work every day to make our beautiful state more equitable and just. By completing certain tasks throughout the year, CISV earns points which qualify us for donations amounting to thousands of dollars from this organization. The Community Shares Chair serves as the liaison between the two organizations. A few times a year metrics are requested by Community Shares that the individual serving in this role would be responsible for gathering and reporting.
