International Day of Peace and Peace Crane Folding with OREPA
September 20 @ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Each year, our chapter partners with OREPA to observe International Peace Day by folding origami cranes
known as “Peace Cranes,” in honor of Sadako Sasaki,
who died after the bombing of Hiroshima during World War II.

Saturday, Sept 20 from 10am-6pm
Come fold one or more Peace Cranes and stay as long as you like.
Origami experts will be available to help you learn. Don’t forget to bring a chair!
Shirts or a book about Sadako will be given to those that fold 30 cranes, while supplies last!
